San Francisco is situated north, 40 minutes from the airport
of Puerto Vallarta , and you will find charming cobble
stoned streets. San Francisco is a small, picturesque
and very clean village. Most of the locals are engaged
in fishing and tourism and it is better known as "San
Pancho".
Its beach is ideal for walks and for collecting several
different types of small shells. If you like to practice
surfing, this is a place which you absolutely must visit.
Navigating along the coastline by sailboat is another romantic
and exciting activity to carry out. It is important to
remember that this beach is located outside the bay, on
the open sea, therefore it is suggested to always take
precautions while swimming.
Protected by the Sierra de Vallejo, San Pancho offers unique
landscapes which make lovers of photography feel as if
they were in paradise. All the activities that can be carried
out, puts you in direct contact with nature. It is an excellent
place to tour by bicycle or to take an excursion on horseback,
whether it is on the beach or in the mountains. It is also
a great place to watch birds and it is common to see falcons
and "aguilillas" flying in the air.

of the conservation of turtles, and as a matter of fact
you can participate in the liberation of the baby turtles,
which in itself is an unforgettable experience.

in order to achieve being one of the villages where cleanliness
and tranquility are the prior elements for all their inhabitants.

Lo de Marco
It is a small fishing village where the streets are still
terracería. Besides fishing its inhabitants are
engaged in agriculture and tourism. It is an ideal spot
for tourists who truly desire to take a rest, retiring
from the hum of a life in constant movement. The water
temperature is warm and the surf is gentle, in the area
of the pier. The climate is mild and the vegetation is
tropical.
If you are a fishing fan, theses beaches are the ideal
spot for practicing this water sport, catching species
like Dorado, Red Snapper and Sierra. Sailing and surfing
can also be practiced.
The beach has always been an attraction at the fast-developing
Lo de Marcos. This small town continues to offer the friendly
atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back with neighborhood
restaurants and cafes providing local cuisine. A nearby
driving range is becoming an attraction with plans for
a full-scale golf course. Horseback riding is popular as
